Self-matting polyurethane emulsion for matte replacement oil is commonly used with about 35% solids. High solids water-based self-matting polyurethane emulsion does not contain matting powder, used alone or with other polyurethane dispersions or acrylic resins, can be printed directly on the substrate after the printing of ink scratch-resistant matte oil process to achieve good physical properties.
