Matting Fluid for IM Film Coating on ITO Treated Substrate Surface

According to the production technology of touch screen is mainly divided into four categories: capacitive touch screen, resistive touch screen, infrared touch screen, acoustic wave touch screen. At present, the most common use in smart phones and tablet devices is capacitive touch screen. It has the advantages of multi-point simultaneous input, fast response, good durability, low cost, high light transmittance, and designability. The electrostatic capacitive approach combines an X-axis direction electrode layer and a Y-axis direction electrode layer, which are combined to form a matrix-like structure (Figure 2). The neighboring electrodes are capacitively coupled. Simply put, this is an image of uniformly stored electricity across the entire panel.
When a finger touches on the metal layer, a coupling capacitance is formed between the finger and the surface of the touch panel due to the body's electric field. That is to say, the finger sucks a very small current from the contact point, and the controller can detect the position of the touch through the change of the current.
Generally in the X-axis direction electrode layer, Y-axis direction electrode layer on the use of ITO film, ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) film is a kind of conductive properties and light transmittance at the same time with the metal acidic material molding film. ITO film is laminated to a glass cover plate using OCA, etc., to form a touch panel.
Because ITO is inorganic, light reflectivity is high, and once there is a difference between the reflectivity of the ITO surface and that of the substrate, the ITO pattern will be visible.
To solve this problem, an Index Matching (IM) film is coated on the surface of the substrate to be treated with ITO, which controls the reflection of light. In this way, the difference in reflectivity between the part with and without the ITO electrode layer can be controlled to less than 1%, reducing the degree of visibility of the ITO.
