The main properties of tactile paper are:
1. Hand feel, smooth and delicate, there is a clear sense of thickness, not like coated with wax like color loss of poor quality materials.
2. Full color, no intaglio left by the dot traces, good tensile strength and high degree of breakage resistance.
3. Weatherability, scratch resistance, folding resistance, resistance to color change, light change, solvent resistance does not look like a tactile paper can be used, whether it is packaging or printing, the first thing is not to lose color, the color is not full of more reflect the grade and elegance of this paper. In particular, the weather resistance is not strong will appear such as: scratch resistance is not strong easily lead to wear and tear of the finished product, does not resist folding to produce bursting, natural light or light irradiation discoloration, into the product display into a flowery face, solvent resistance is not strong in the production of packaging and printing, to avoid the problem of cleanliness, which leads to the production of semi-finished products scrapped, expanding the attrition.

The effect of tactile paper depends on the production process and tactile oil, in which the tactile oil is the source of touch, in addition to the common slippery, velvety, some manufacturers have developed folding resistance, alcohol resistance, scratch resistance, anti-fingerprints, and other special performance of the tactile oil, but no matter what the feel of the tactile paper, basically can not be separated from the co-solvent to regulate the drying speed, because the tactile oil used in the main body of the resin is a waterborne self-matte polyurethane resin ( Also known as self-matting emulsion), the current waterborne polyurethane technology in addition to the conventional DMPA, DMBA, A95 and other chain extender, there are very few other types of products, A95 can be achieved more than 50% solids polyurethane emulsions, but the production control is very strict, and low-cost, commonly used on the market are DMPA, DMBA and other products such as chain extender, which leads to the product in the 30- 40% solids between the best stability. The stability of the product between 30-40% solids is the best, and in the case of complete drying, it needs to evaporate more than 60% of the water to realize curing. Winlight launched the high solids water-based self-matte polyurethane resins (self-matte emulsions) adopts its own patented chain extender, which contains more hydrophilic groups, and it is easier to make the products with high solids, and the water needed for drying needs to evaporate as long as 45%, which has a fast drying speed, and it can realize the real sense of touching paper. The production process is completely water-based, more environmentally friendly, and the same wet film thickness of the deposited thickness is higher, stronger feel.
